Data Protection Compliance

We are updating our Privacy Policy in compliance with the European data protection law known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

PERSONAL DATA

  • We may collect both personal information.  Personal information is information that is either expressly provided by you, such as your name, or information that can be used either alone or in combination with other information to personally identify you, such as your email address, phone number, and user name.
  • Your details are protected by SSL Encryption
  • No Staff of Artphoto Studio , MyPhotoToPoster or MemoryLanePosters have any access to client card details as all transactions are processed through Paypal.
  • Our information comes from Emails, Ebay, Telephone and Clients for the use of printing images as requested and replying to them for clarification of said images.
  • After the prints have been sent to the client, their details will be deleted from our email records within 15 days.
  • Our method of payment is through Paypal ONLY and will also be under Paypal’s own GDPR compliance  policy.
  • We keep, for information only, the name and addresses of client’s who have requested that we send out by courier/post the images sent to us via Email/Uploaded to our website and file transfer or personally to our studio.
  • We take privacy very seriously and any personal details that are required will be for the purchase and completion of any transaction and not for any other purpose.
  • Artphoto Studio, MyPhotoToPoster, and MemoryLanePosters do not send out emails to their clients unless it is specific to their order or related to special offers that you have agreed to receive.

INFORMATION CONSENT

If expressly requested to do so by email or verbal means, we may keep a record of such emails as required by the client. These will be placed on file and deleted if requested by email or verbal.

We also retain the right to remove email details if we so wish.

The definition of consent in Article 4(11) of the GDPR

“Any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her”

THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT

If you wish us to withdraw your details then please get in touch with us so we may comply with your request.

If a request is refused, we must tell you why and that you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority and to a judicial remedy.  We will do this without undue delay and at the latest, within one month.

Individuals have the right to complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s office, ico.org.UK) if they think there is a problem with the way we are handling their data.

We do not share/pass on any information to a third party.

If the need arises then we would get express permission from the individual concerned before proceeding with any sharing of information to a third party.

We regularly review the way we handle data and consent.
